Women who wish to become pregnant but face fertility issues can contact HOPEgenesis. In vitro fertilisation (IVF) treatments are provided on 28 islands and 4 Municipalities (see list) in collaboration with major fertility centres in Greece.

The islands included in the programme are:

Agathonisi, Agios Efstratios, Anafi, Antikythera, Arki, Astypalaia, Gavdos, Donousa, Elafonisos, Iraklia, Thymaina, Kalamos, Kasos, Kastellorizo, Kastos, Kimolos, Koufonisia, Lipsi, Meganisi, Nisyros, Oinousses, Sikonos, Skyros, Symi, Schinoussa, Tilos, Folegandros, Fourni, Chalki, Psara, Pserimos

The Municipalities included in the programme are:

Municipality of Zagori Regional Division of Ioannina, Municipality of Agrafa Regional Division of Evritania, Municipality of Argithea Regional Division of Karditsa

1.They must exclusively and permanently reside in one of the remote areas included in the programme (map).

2.They must have an annual income of up to 20.000 €.

3.They must be insured with the National Organisation for the Provision of Health Services (EOPYY).
